If I can pass on that Love Which God has given me Then I will be satisfied that I have done my duty If I can hold out a hand in Love Speak a word of comfort Give a shoulder to cry on An ear to listen Then I will be satisfied that I have done that which I am called to do To meet God - not only in His `material` Church But in the True Church - His Body - the people To recognise in them a part of me - a part of Creation To meet them at the point of their need Each has within his heart a longing - a yearning For Love - For belonging For value - For worth If I, through Love, can make someone so acknowledge their value - their worth - their belonging Then I will have done that which I am meant to do AMEN © RETURN TO CONTENTS
